41mm GRP Mesh Grating

41mm GRP Grating Panels

41mm Thick Solid Top Grating

Our 41mm solid top GRP grating panels provide a closed, easy-clean surface with the same high performance as our open mesh range. Ideal for walkways, platforms, plant rooms and access areas where a fully covered surface is required, they offer excellent impact resistance, durability and long-term slip protection.

Manufactured from high-quality glass fibre reinforcements and premium resins, these panels deliver a high strength-to-weight ratio, outstanding corrosion resistance and proven performance in harsh industrial and outdoor environments.

41mm GRP Solid Top Grating FAQs

Solid top GRP is ideal where you need a fully closed surface – for example above offices or equipment, in plant rooms, on mezzanines or where there’s a risk of objects falling through the grating. It also helps contain spills and is easier to keep clean than open mesh.

Yes. The panels are designed for both indoor and outdoor environments, with excellent resistance to weathering, chemicals and moisture. They are commonly used on external platforms, rooftops and access ways, as well as inside factories and plant rooms.

They can. The grating can be cut on site using standard carbide-tipped tools, allowing penetrations for pipework, cable trays and ducting. We recommend sealing any cut edges with resin to maintain durability and appearance.

The upper surface is supplied with a gritted anti-slip finish, tested to a coefficient of friction of 1.04 to BS 4592-0. This provides dependable slip resistance in wet, oily or high-traffic areas, improving safety for pedestrians and maintenance teams.

Yes, in many cases. The closed surface prevents debris falling through and is easy to wash down, making it suitable for certain food, chemical and process environments. For critical applications we can advise on finishes and cleaning regimes.

Panels can be secured to steel, concrete or GRP supports using stainless steel clips, bolts or bespoke fixings. Fixing layouts can be designed to suit your loading requirements and to keep panels removable where future access is needed.
