Project FAQs – Land Rover Halewood GRP Flooring Installation
Yes. Our installation teams are experienced in working around live operations. We plan every stage to align with site safety and production schedules, following all RAMS, permits to work, and induction requirements. The Land Rover Halewood project was delivered on time with zero disruption to operations.
For this installation, we used custom GRP grating panels with a durable gritted anti-slip surface. This finish provides maximum traction in oily and wet conditions — perfect for busy manufacturing environments.
GRP flooring is extremely low maintenance. It doesn’t rust or require painting, and only needs occasional cleaning to remove oil or residue. The gritted surface maintains long-term slip resistance even in areas exposed to liquids or chemicals.
All systems are engineered to match site-specific requirements. GRP panels can be designed to meet pedestrian or light vehicle load ratings, with fire-retardant, low-smoke, and chemical-resistant resins where required to comply with industry standards.
Lead times depend on project size and complexity. Stock components can be supplied quickly, and bespoke systems progress through design, fabrication, and installation on an agreed schedule — ensuring timely completion with minimal disruption.
